The designer and creative force behind Rigalo is Anna Bolk. She graduated in Art & Design (majoring in Fashion) at art schools both in London and Holland. She was a stylist and a costume designer before opening her own very successful bridal couture studio in the centre of Amsterdam. 12 Years later Anna and her husband moved to SW France, where she had the time for fresh creative ideas. The culmination of one project was a fabulous patchwork quilt of bridal fabrics and laces incorporating photographic scenes from Anna's life.
The quilt is being exhibited at the Château Sainte Rosaline in the Provence in April 2007. Inspired by the local markets and the colourful seasonal produce, Anna developed her concept of well designed, stylish and practical bags. It is not surprising that 'Pain', 'Vin' and 'Fromage' were the first prints that she used. Now a wide range of prints is being used. A new creative company was born
- Rigalo!
